We understand that you only truly enjoy your holiday when the children are happy.

We are very privileged that many families with babies and small children, (and expectant Mums!), have chosen the Manoir de Maffrecourt for their holiday destination.

Being only 3 hours from Calais, makes this the ideal location if you have a young family.

We welcome children of all ages.  Our gites have been designed with families in mind, providing a safe and fun environment for your children so that you can get on with the important things - relaxing and enjoying your holiday

Our 5 acres of safe enclosed gardens are perfect for little explorers and we provide lots of outdoor toys to keep active minds happy until bedtime.  A selection of games and toys are provided in your gite to keep them occupied even on rainy days

Travel light - Because we are parents too, we understand how many things little ones need so we have made sure our gites are fully equipped with lots of essential items.  No need to pack buggies or prams either as we have them here too. We are pleased to provide:

* children's plastic plates, bowls, beakers and cutlery * steriliser for bottles and other items * high chair * full size wooden cot and/or travel cot * changing mat * Sangenic nappy-wrapper * bed guard * non-slip bath mat * toilet/sink step * potty and toilet training seat * folding buggy/pram * toys, games and children's DVD's * stair gate (Gite Mirabelle) * garden toys * paddling pool * night lights * childrens books - for all ages We also provide baby wipes and nappy sacks.

Standard childrens medication for non-urgent cases is available on request. Doctors appointments with an English speaking Doctor can be arranged. (we strongly recommend you arrange full medical insurance before your holiday)

Gite Cerise was absolutely charming and perfect with views onto both the formal garden and expansive orchard. We loved having our own outdoor seating area where we enjoyed delicious home-cooked meals by Sandra and later an endless supply of tasty local beer, gorgeous Dampierre champagne and stars.

Our toddler had a treasure trove of stimulation and fun. From the toy chest full of toys to the swing in the orchard to the push toys, bike ride, gardens and the world's best dog and friend, Hector.
