Hector - he's very popular with guests ...... you should read our guest book!Pets Welcome:

Please advise us in advance if you would like to bring your pet and we will do our very best to accommodate your needs.

Our gite Cerise is the preferred accommodation for guests with pets as it is on the ground floor with direct access to the garden.

We make a small charge of 30 Euro per pet (max 2 pets) per booking.

We appreciate your cooperation in complying with the following rules regarding pets in the gites.
  • No pets on the furniture
  • All excrement must be collected from the garden and disposed of (plastic bags are provided)
  • Pets must never be left alone in the gite
  • Please be respectful of other guests who may be staying especially children and keep your pet on a lead if necessary
  • 1 large dog or 2 small dogs are the maximum we can accomodate
Please be aware that we have our own dog, Hector, a three year old black labrador who is very friendly and enjoys playing with other dogs and children.

PETS Pet Passport for travel to France and EuropeIf you are travelling from the UK your dog will require a "Pet Passport". As part of this system (PETS - Pet Travel Scheme) it is required for your dog to be given medication to protect against ticks and tapeworms between 24hrs and 48 hrs before you check in to travel on your return journey to the UK and the Pet Passport stamped accordingly. This is very important. We are fortunate to have an excellent Vets Practice in the nearby town of Sainte Menehould who will be pleased to provide this service for you.

We suggest you contact Madame Pekus (pronounced Pek-cous). She speaks excellent English and used to work in Calais (as did her husband) so they are very well informed on the regulations and requirements of the Pet Passport System.

You can contact her/them on 0033 (0)3 26 60 86 72 and by fax 0033 (0)3 26 60 07 31
