Champagne Tasting Weekend

At our gites here in the Champagne region we offer a weekly Champagne tasting weekend. The Champagne tasting involves Dampierre Champagne and offers you the chance to taste some of their fine beverages and also discover a little bit about their history.
If you stay with us here at our luxury gites then not only do you get the chance to have a Champagne tasting weekend with us but you can visit some of the local Champagne 'caves' that are in the region which include Bollinger, Veuve Clicquot and Moët.
The inventor of the Champagne making method was Dom Perignon a monk who was born in our local town here in Sainte Menehould. The Champagne route lies only 20 minutes away from our luxury gites and just over 30 minutes away from Reims and Epernay which are the homes of many different Champagne Houses where you can take a Champagne tasting tour. You will probably need more than a weekend as there are over 14,000 Champagne Houses in all.
